I read you inquiry posted on The Red Raiders website and though you would like some info that I have been aware of concerning Shoo Shoo Baby.

I personally visited Shoo Shoo Shoo Baby at Dover AFB when it was being restored in the 80's.
It carried the serial #42-32076 as a B17G. It had flown 24 combat missions.

The plane was found in France in later years after WWII and finally brought back to the USA for restoration and then to Dayton, Ohio where it is now on exhibit.

The 1st combat pilot was Paul McDuffee.

Shoo Shoo "Shoo" Baby had an extra "Shoo" added by a second crew during WWII.

There is a book published by Don Patterson titled "Shoo Shoo Baby . . a lucky lady of the sky" in 1988. You may be interested in finding a copy which has #ISBN 0962227102.
